A Candid Look at the Gaps

The bagpipe podcast space is smaller than it looks. Several shows you might remember are no longer publishing. Here's the honest state of things.

Pipeline (BBC Radio Scotland)

Ended April 2023 after decades on the air. Gary West's Enjoy Your Piping! is the unofficial successor and is listed above.

Piping Talks

Gleren Meneghin's interview show. Last episode reportedly March 2024 — now dormant past our 12-month cutoff, though the back catalog is still worth mining.

PodBand PipeCast

Alex Lemoine's show wrapped around episode 100 in early 2022. Excellent archive but no longer publishing.

Dedicated Uilleann Content

Standalone Uilleann pipes podcasts are essentially nonexistent in 2026. For Irish content, see Wetootwaag's Uilleann episodes and Na Píobairí Uilleann's video archives.

Ratings & Review Counts

Apple has mostly hidden public star counts, and Spotify doesn't surface them at all. Where we list ratings, they're community sentiment rather than hard numbers. Check inside the apps for current reviews.
